Nick Tettersell

Meet Nick, a sauna master and massage therapist bringing Finnish and Eastern European bathing rituals to the shores of Cornwall.

After 15 years as a tree surgeon, Nick’s journey took a transformative turn 12 years ago when he retrained as a massage therapist. This opened the door to a world of wellbeing practices, from Ayurvedic philosophy to breathwork, meditation, and the healing powers of hot and cold therapy.

Nick found solace in wild saunas along Cornwall’s coast, helping him heal from past trauma and discover inner peace. Now, trained by the Lithuanian Bath Academy and Finland’s Sipoonjoki Heritage Sauna, he combines group sauna rituals with intuitive bodywork to guide others toward emotional release and wellbeing.

With handmade whisks, natural scrubs, and deep connection to nature, Nick’s sessions are more than sauna—they’re a journey of healing and transformation.

He trained to be a Sauna Master, three years ago, with the Lithuanian Bath Academy, and more recently completed some sauna Healer Training with Sipoonjoki Heritage Sauna in Finland.

Using a combination of group sauna ritual and individual bodywork, Nick’s goal is to bring Finnish and Eastern European bathing rituals to the UK, helping people with modern day issues such a s trauma release and improving their emotional wellbeing.

Nick guides intuitively from the heart and with support from the Divine, using handmade whisks and homemade scrubs inspired by and working with nature.
